Festivals are an integral part of the Bhutanese life and depictions of cultural and traditions of the Bhutanese. A festival is both a opportunity for a Bhutanese to socially gather with relatives and families and also to be blessed by mask dances performed during a festival.
Annually, various festivals are carried out at the different regions of the country at varying dates. Each festival has it’s significance and various mask dances and cultural songs are performed.
